Going into his third year of computer engineering at Ryerson, Drew loves all things computer hardware and enjoys following the newest innovations in the industry. Drew is also passionate about equity and inclusion in the field of engineering and volunteers his time as Director of Logistics of IEEE Computer Society Ryerson and in the logistics committee of the Conference on Diversity in Engineering hosted at Ryerson in 2018.
As Vice President, Drew hopes to help queer engineering students build relations with inclusive companies and create a inclusive engineering community at Ryerson.
Anjali is going into her 5fth year at Ryerson and is the Industrial Engineering program. She has been involved with multiple extracurriculars such as case competitions like the Ryerson Engineering Competition, the engineering student newspaper Golden Ram and she has also been an orientation leader for multiple years of frosh activities. Her goals for EngOut include bringing new and exciting queer events to RyEng and continuing old ones to bring students together in a fun, accepting and educational environment.
Dawna is a 3rd year Aerospace Engineering student. In her spare time she loves to sing in her local church choir and play the saxophone. Dawna hopes to attract more students to join EngOut and is looking forward to working with the group.
Ashwin is a 3rd year computer engineering student at Ryerson University. He is involved with several student group such as Ryerson Rams Robotics, Ryerson Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Society(RECESS) and Tri-Mentoring Program. Ashwin likes programming and playing basketball in his spare time. In the coming year, his goal is to host new events welcoming new members to the LGBTQ+ community as well as continue to strengthen EngOut’s professional relationships and hopefully attain new ones.
